3D Animation in Cinema 4D.

 Animated Rabbit;

To create the body parts of my test

 subject animation, I selected simple
 shapes, including  a cylinder, a
sphere and four ovals which I morphed
in order to create the ears, arms and
 legs.

Once I had my character ready, I started

to rig (Attach) parts of the body
together. I started with making three
joints in my arm; The last joint being
the wrist, the middle joint being he elbow,
and the first joint being the shoulder. this
would enable me to bend and morph the
character's arm when it moves.

I then clicked on the "TAGS," option,

where from the drop down menu, I
selected "CHARACTER TAGS," and then selected "IK." And I also went to the bottom right hand side of the screen and added the
"End" of the wrist to be the end joint, and
then clicked on add goal, which automatically
added the wrist as the goal as well.
This would mean my character's arm would
bend, and the wrist would be in control of
the whole arm's movement.

I then did this sequence with the other arm on my rabbit character, so I had two working, moving and bending arms. I then did the same with the ears and legs, giving the rabbit the ability to walk with a vast amount of character in him.
